Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. She has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish roots. She completed her studies at Cony High School in Augusta and competed in the high jump. Columbia University in New York City was where she graduated with an honors degree in math and economics. After starting modeling, she launched a successful career with high-profile companies like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, and L'Oreal. Rachel moved into acting when she was offered a role on the HBO comedy Sex and the City (1998). In the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, When Harry met Lloyd (2003) the actress made her film debut playing Jessica Matthews. She continued her success with roles in films like The Amityville Horror (2006), The Inside (2005) and Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a regular role in the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). She played the main role of a police officer Kiera Cameron in the science-fiction series Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in math and economics. She was a model for Guess? and Abercrombie & Fitch as well as L'Oreal, Nicole Miller, and L'Oreal. She was the hostess of a restaurant in Sex and the City, the first role in which she auditioned.
