Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25, 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. Her roles on American television shows like Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her main character. She has also acted in movies such as RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted and also in the independent film Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class which is the latter of which she also wrote and co-directed. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy, John's father was a marketing and meat sales/marketing executive. The position required significant traveling and the family was required to relocate frequently. Maxine Her mother was a secretary. Her daughter was abandoned by Eleanor Her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother, as well as Jacqueline who is a twin. Jacqueline is host and journalist for the Canadian television program. Hennessy's ancestral ancestry includes Irish, French, Swedish and Italian descendents from her father's and mostly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. After graduating from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both located in Kitchener) She then went to Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also worked on the Toronto subway. Hennessy's sister and she made their acting debut as twin callgirls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, revealed that she was shortlisted for The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the character of Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to play the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney on Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons before she left the show in 1996.
