Deborah Rhea Seehorn Bio

Deborah Rhea Seehorn was born on the 12th of May 1972. Her most well-known part is that of Kim Wexler, an attorney in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-2018) and was twice awarded the Satellite Award as Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She's also been in the NBC miniseries Whitney (2011)-2013 as well as ABC's I'm with Her(2003)-2004 as well as TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011)-2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn, a Norfolk native was born on May 12 in 1972. Her mother was an executive secretary in the United States Navy, her father was an agent for the Naval Investigative Service. The family was based in Washington, D.C., Arizona, Japan, and traveled extensively throughout her early years. Since the age of a child, she was inspired by her grandfather and grandmother to pursue a career in drawing, painting and architecture. She continued to pursue the visual arts, but she also had a growing passion for acting and was introduced to modern theater at the age of college. She graduated from George Mason University in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Studio Art. While at college, Seehorn was looking to enter the theater industry, thanks to the encouragement of her acting coach. To be noticed, she worked in ancillary roles in D.C.'s theatre industry. She was eventually offered important roles in local theatre productions but had to work odd jobs to help make ends meet as she landed roles in several short instructional films. In the next few years, she was able to get parts in television productions. Her roles were often that were "very humorous and funny" as her role model Bea Arthur. The roles were typically cancelled after only one to two seasons. Seehorn was played by Kim Wexler for the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul in May 2014. Seehorn is Kim Wexler, a lawyer as well as the love interest of the aforementioned Jimmy McGill/Saul G. Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
