Dawson, born May 9, 1979in the US, is an American actress. Her feature film
debut was in 1995's independent drama Kids. She has since starred in films such
as He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (1901), Men in Black II
(2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and the
Olympians (2010). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel
and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The actress was also nominated for the Critics'
Choice Movie Award for the Best Actress in a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance
(2013), Top Five (2014) Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born in New
York City on May 9th 1979. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and
Puerto Rican ancestry. Isabel was just 16 when Rosario was born; she didn't
marry Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was a year
old, her mom got married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. In this union,
Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is four years older than her. Dawson is
also known for her various characters in comic book adaptations.These include
Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple
in five of the series from Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018) as well as providing the
voices of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space
Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie. The
actress played Ahsoka Tano in the Mandalorian's second season, which will air
in 2020. She will play the role in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She is
also a regular part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young
Rock in 2021.
